The traditional Indian medicine of Ayurveda emerged over 3000 years ago. Embracing an holistic approach it aims to balance body, mind and soul in order to maintain or restore good health.

According to Ayurveda there are three bio energies, called doshas, that govern different forces in the human body: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Affecting the trinity of body, mind and spirit, Ayurveda aims to balance those tri (three) doshas.

Individual massages and oil baths

Therapy includes massage, oil baths, yoga, meditation and a diet suitable for each individual’s constitution. Irrespective of the length of your stay, an authentic Ayurveda therapy programme consists of three different stages that build upon each other: It all starts with activating the metabolism, followed by purification and detoxification and completed with regenerative days. The last stage activates the immune system and strengthens the body for the time after. Many Ayurveda fans report long-lasting positive effects after their treatment.
